The wine presents an opaque crimson-plum robe and deep aromas of Morello cherries, vanilla, coconut, milk chocolate, pencil lead, and dry limestone earth. On the palate, C.V.N.E.’s Crianza is brisk, lively and invigorating with vibrant, spicy cherry fruit lifted by bristling acidity, tangy tannins, and complex suggestions of coconut husk, cigar tobacco, leather, vanilla and chalky earth. Complex tobacco, cedar and resinous Rioja barrel notes of vanilla, toffee and mocha transition the Crianza to its long finish featuring reprises of black currants and tangy bitter cherries.

Wine made from grapes from the Rioja Alavesa area harvested and processed manually in Viña Real. The destemmed grapes were placed in stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place for 10-12 days with temperature control between 26-28 º C. The wine after malolactic fermentation happens to French oak barrels where it remains and American 13 – 14 months. The wine is racked barrel while in every 5-6 months to encourage proper ripening and organoleptic evolution.
