Wines & Tapas

Hola Everyone!

Sorry for the late Weekly Update but I’ve been a very sick Ace this week. It’s been brutal.

Join us tomorrow Friday 1/18/19 from 6-8pm to taste wines from another old winery that’s actually a block from CVNE (Which we tasted last week).

Our story begins on July 10th, 1890. On that day five Riojan and Basque families who shared a passion for wine, founded the, ‘Sociedad Vinicola de La Rioja Alta’. Thus began an exciting business venture whose founders enthusiastically shared the dream of making and ageing top-quality Rioja wines. The region with a winemaking tradition dating back thousands of years benefited from the arrival in the late 19th century of French winemakers who had been affected by the devastating phylloxera virus.
