Vineyards are situated amongst the rolling hills of Lodi, with warm, dry summers and relatively cool winters, Zinfandel thrives in this region. Such warm days attribute to a more fruit forward style, with bold fruit characteristics and dynamic flavor profiles. Wet winters, with ample rain flow through the spring maintain the balance necessary to offset such warm days during the summer months and allow such a balanced wine. On the palate, a riot of raspberry and jammy blackberries moves to toasty spice and hints of vanilla. This wine is medium bodied with a long, warming finish.
