Friday 9/21/18 Join us and Martin from Superior Wines tasting you on wines from Almansa Spain.

Now hit the NWO music, New-New-New-Wine-Order!

These just came in:

The Lost Chapters represents the culmination of 5th generation Winemaker Paul Scotto’s dream. Each year Paul sources and crafts dozens of brands, varietals and blends for the Scotto Family’s extensive wine portfolio. In his relentless search for just the right barrel lots to fit the profile of each bottling, Paul occasionally encounters something very special that deserves its own place. While these select and limited lots may enhance a given blend, they would also present themselves far better as a stand-alone that most likely would not be repeated in future vintages.

The Lost Chapters wines are intended to offer something special originating from an outstanding vineyard or vineyard block exhibiting a layer of excellence and individual character regardless of vintage, growing area or varietal.

When one release sells out, another will appear offering its own allure and charm. The Lost Chapters is Paul’s opportunity to break away from the norm in winemaking and provide you the opportunity to continue reading “the book” with each release standing on its own while complementing the whole.

Join us in traversing Paul’s adventurous path along with co-Winemaker Mitch Cosentino to The Lost Chapters and discover an ever-changing palette of enticing wines that promise to reward the search and broaden your senses. Low production, each bottle is numbered.

– The Lost Chapters Petite Syrah, Napa, CA – 100% Petite Syrah – This intriguing release was tank fermented with NT 112 yeast and aged for 30 months in French oak barrels. It shows the deep, brooding color typical of the varietal and a nose displaying black current, plum and red berries. The palate is rich and plump with interwoven flavors of mixed black fruits and a deep, powerful finish with an elegant edge and a hint of bright raspberry. Extraordinarily well balanced with 5 to 10 years of aging potential.

– The Lost Chapters Pinot Noir, Carneros, CA – 100% Pinot The hand harvested fruit was fermented using W15 yeast and a punched cap, followed by 18 months of French oak barrel aging including 25% new oak. The medium ruby color borders on light raspberry and hints at the elegance that follows. Ripe cherries with a note of spice and tobacco on the nose lead to a lush palate with balanced acidity and restrained tannins. Flavors of red cherries and raspberries linger through a long lasting, layered finish

– The Lost Chapters Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, CA
100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 30 months in French Oak. an intricate blending of fruit from a few select Napa Valley vineyards Winemakers Mitch Cosentino and Paul Scotto have been using in crafting award-winning wines for many years. It is a robust yet elegant wine that captures your senses as it continues to evolve in the glass revealing layered complexity and “surprises” around each corner. The nose is redolent with blue and black fruit that continues on to the palate as welcome notes of red berries and spice suddenly appear. The tannins are sweet and structured to frame not only the rich mouthfeel but the elegant bright finish as well.
